How the Scores & Ratings are Calculated
The Top 10 lists you see all around the Top Online Casinos website are created by
me and based on my own playing experiences and opinions. There is even a list
of my favourite online casinos which are the ones that have stood the test of time
ane met my own criteria for playablility! Fast cashouts, short reverse times, fair games, good service. Not
much to ask is it?
But you will also notice in each list that every casino has an "Auto-rating" which is effectively a "Mark out of 10". This score has very little to do with me and everything to do with how a casino performs. It is a math function that takes into account everything from average cashout times (as experienced by me), reverse times, licensing jurisdiction, date established, software platform and more. The only manual weighting that applies is a small upgrade/downgrade for "Brand awareness".
In essence that measn I have virtually no input or sway over the score of a specific online casino. There is no "opinion" influencing these scores - it's a fact-based points system. Just so you know :)
It is also worth mentioning that because a casino has to meet my minimum expectations for me to include them on the TOC site then it is natural that they will have a half-decent score. I think the lowest is around the 7.0 mark and the highest as I write is 9.8.
